We Interrupt Your Usual Programming for the Following Message

A friend just sent me this link, and it is by far one of the most brilliant things I have seen in a very long time. I present to you: Holy Musical B@tman! If you are a fan of the comics, any incarnation of the television show or any of the films I highly suggest you check this out. As a long time Batman fangirl I couldn’t help but squeal and hyperventilate when I saw this for the first time. The humour is great, the songs are catchy. It reminds me of the Live Action Show that I used to watch as a kid on the Space Channel but if the cheesy Batman was replaced by the Christopher Nolan Batman.

Happy Halloween Weekend

So lets get this straight.

I bloodly love Halloween.

Any day that gives me an excuse to wear a cape and still be considered as socially acceptable is a good day to me. So yes, as you can guess... I'm going as a superhero this year.

But other than sugar induced comas and ridiculous costumes, what makes Halloween so brilliantly awesome? Living in a university town I know that Halloween is one of those days where the party scene can change ever so slightly (another example of course being St. Patricks Day). It's as if a refreshing breath of air blows through the town and people now have a legitimate excuse to go out... well other than the usual "it's Saturday and I'm bored."

Halloween is one of those days where you get to be what you want to be, whether it be a pirate, a superhero, a slutty ladybug. You know what, GO FOR IT. It's almost like it plays on some childhood memory... look back, what were you for Halloween when you were a kid? And I mean when YOU finally started choosing your Halloween Costumes, not those horrid ones that your parents put you in because you would look so adorable.

Looking back, I was a ridiculous cast of characters spanning from mythology to scifi and fantasy.... makes sense doesn't it?

My Halloween plans you say? Overdosing on chocolate and candy while delighting (well truthfully horrifying) my friends with bad Christian Bale Batman impressions....

Speaking of which....
